Calderwood Sponsors Rising Cayman Star Justin Hastings

Calderwood is delighted to announce that the firm is sponsoring leading Cayman Islands amateur golfer Justin Hastings in 2025, as he competes in the Majors this year – starting with The Masters in April.

We are extremely proud to support Justin, as he takes on the world’s best golfers in the most prestigious tournaments throughout the summer, before turning professional later this year.

With his success winning the 2025 Latin America Amateur Golf Championship in January at the age of 21, Justin represents the Cayman Islands with distinction and Calderwood is pleased to be part of the proud Cayman community that is right behind him.

Justin has been a part of the Cayman golfing scene since he was seen regularly practicing at the North Sound Club as a young child. After multiple junior tournament wins, Justin went on to be part of the Cayman Islands team that became regional champions for the first time in 2018, when they won the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships.

Justin set off to San Diego State University (SDSU) in 2020, following in the footsteps of golfing stars such as Xander Schauffele.  Excelling at SDSU, Justin holds the best career scoring average in program history at 71.28 through 120 rounds, beating Schauffele’s 71.50. He has also won two collegiate titles, with the UC San Diego Invitational and the Maui Jim Intercollegiate, both in 2023.

We look forward to cheering Justin on this year as he competes on the biggest stage, with The Masters at Augusta the first of the Majors. He also has the RBC Canadian Open in June in his sights, followed by the US Open later that month and The Open, which takes place in July in Northern Ireland.
