Phil leads Calderwood’s Asia Pacific practice, providing time zone sensitive advice to funds operating across the region. His career in regulated markets has spanned over 30 years giving him a unique perspective on the changing regulatory environment, having held appointments on numerous companies from the Cayman Islands and other jurisdictions.

Before joining Calderwood, Phil was a founding member and Executive Chairman of JP Integra Group, where he built an international fund services business across Europe, Asia and the Americas. He acted as director of JP Fund Administration (Cayman) Ltd, a CIMA regulated fund administrator, between 2011 and 2018 and has worked in the investment fund industry since 2008.

With a deep knowledge and understanding of offshore fund structures and their administration as well as foreign exchange, equity and capital Markets, Phil’s expertise has invaluable to fund managers and their investors.

Previously in his career, Phil worked as a Financial Markets senior executive in Europe, Asia and Australasia with Exco International/ICAP, Thomson Reuters and Saxo Bank. He has represented his companies at the Wholesale Brokers Association and the Bank of England’s London Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee.
