Ronan Guilfoyle
Co-Founder & Director
Ronan Guilfoyle is a co-founder of Calderwood. He serves as an independent director on the boards of a wide range of investment funds and related structures, advising on fund governance and regulatory compliance. Ronan is an industry leader and the current Chairman of the Cayman Islands Chapter of AIMA.
Biography

Ronan has been a director on investment funds in the Cayman Islands for over 18 years and has worked with many of the world’s most successful managers. He is an active participant in industry regulatory consultations and a frequent speaker at hedge fund events and forums.

Before founding Calderwood, Ronan was a Managing Director at DMS Governance, with responsibility for the strategic development of the firm. Prior to that, he was a Group Manager at Admiral Administration, an independent fund administration firm in the Cayman Islands.

Ronan began his career with Ernst & Young, Ireland where he was responsible for supervising audit teams on large global audits. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University College Cork, Ireland.

Ronan was elected to serve two consecutive terms as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of AIMA Cayman. He is a Registered Professional Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association and the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants.
